Studies and Internships Abroad

Does your school have a Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) with FAMU? Are you interested in joining us not only in theoretical coursework, but also through assisting on practical film projects? Apply now!

FAMU is participating in the EU‘s Erasmus+ Exchange Programme. Within this framework foreign students from partner schools in the EU, Iceland, Turkey and other partner countries can apply for study exchange for one term of whole academic year.

Please note that study plan is subject to change every year especially among modules – short and intensive workshops or guest lectures. Students get during their stay involved in practical projects as assistants of their colleagues from the Academy Preparation Program (APP) or the Cinema and Digital Media (CDM) program. Unfortunetelly, production of the personal projects is not possible within the exchange stay. However, participation in the projects of the others is more than welcome and valued by ECTS credits.

Throughout the year FAMU invites widely known professionals to hold guest lectures or to lead practical workshops (i.e. Yorgos Lanthimos, Pedro Costa, Béla Tarr, Bruno Dumont, Hlynur Pálmason and others):

All subjects are taught in English - the expected level of proficiency in English is B2 level based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF).
