Les Rencontres d'Arles
THE DEPARTMENT OF PHOTOGRAPHY ANNOUNCES A CALL FOR 5 PLACES AT THE Les Rencontres d'Arles FESTIVAL.
Department of Photography, FAMU is offering selected students the opportunity to participate in the Rencontres d’Arles festival, the opening week of which takes place from July 7 to 13, 2025 in France. This major photography festival brings a wide range of exhibitions, lectures, and networking opportunities with experts from around the world.
The call is open to:
- Students of the Department of Photography – 1st year of MA studies or 2nd year of BA studies.
A committee consisting of the heads of the Department of Photography studios will select 5 students who can visit the festival.
All selected students will receive support from the Erasmus+ program for short-term mobility, from which they will cover their living expenses (meals, local transportation, transportation to and from Arles) and a festival pass.
It is necessary to count on shared housing for 5 people in a shared apartment.
Each selected student will receive support from the Erasmus+ program for short-term mobility:
- living expenses 395 EUR (5 days)
- a contribution of 309 EUR for transportation - in the case of an ecological trip, the contribution is increased to 417 EUR (in which case it is possible to increase the duration by travel days)
- the contribution can be further increased individually by INCLUSION support.
