Current FAMU students in the academic year 2025/2026 can download the application form at the link above. The application process will open on 5 May 2025 from midnight. Interested candidates should apply by sending the filled application form to: zuzana.paceva@famu.cz. Application receipt will be open till midnight on 18 May 2025. The applicants will be notified of their assigned dormitory space no later than June 2025.
Please keep in mind the capacity of beds is limited at Residence Hall AMU. We are not able to guarantee a room for everyone who applies for accommodation. Sooner you send the application form, you have more chance to get the dormitory. Preference for allocating places in the dormitory is given to future 1st-year Czech bachelor's students, then 1st-year English students, then current students. Applicants who are not allocated a place will be registered on the waiting list. If you are interested, you will be offered accommodation in a dormitory of another university in Prague. There is a high probability that the ranking will move by September. Payment of the reservation fee is a condition for the binding reservation of a place in the dormitory. One-bed rooms are almost not available, please count on 2 or 3-bed rooms. The placement in residence hall rooms is fully under the direction of the manager of the Residence Hall AMU and only takes place after the deadline for payment of the reservation fee (September).
