As part of our mentoring programme, we were pleased to welcome French director Jérémy Clapin from May 20th to May 23rd, 2024 a well-known creator in global animation, whose latest feature film premiered at this year's Berlinale. During Jérémy Clapin's stay, the students and their teachers had the opportunity to get acquainted with his work and creative methods in detail, to gain new motivation and inspiration for their own work. 

Mentoring programme included a block of short films and two feature films, "I Lost My Body" and "Meanwhile on Earth," which had its worldwide premiere at the Berlinale 2024. The screenings were introduced by the creator and the program also included a masterclass by a lecturer, moderated by moderated by Michaela Pavlátová. 

The next part of the programme was aimed at students of the Master's programme of the Department of the Animated Film, Master's programme and included lectures focused on a distinctive way of working and creative thinking, individual consultations and the animation workshop.
