PARIS PHOTO (PHOTOGRAPHY)
THE DEPARTMENT OF PHOTOGRAPHY ANNOUNCES A CALL FOR 5 PLACES AT THE PARIS PHOTO FESTIVAL.
Department of Photography, FAMU in cooperation with Czech Centre in Paris is offering selected students the opportunity to participate in the Paris Photo festival and workshop, the opening week of which takes place from November 12-16th, 2025 in France. This major photography festival brings a wide range of exhibitions, lectures, and networking opportunities with experts from around the world.
The call is open to:
- Students of the Studio of Documentary Strategies, Department of Photography – 1st and 2nd years of MA studies.
FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION
All selected students will receive support from the Erasmus+ program for short-term traineeship, from which they will cover their living expenses (meals, local transportation, transportation to and from Paris) and a festival pass.
It is necessary to count on shared housing for 5 people in the Czech Centre in Paris
- financial contribution for living expenses 395 EUR (5 days)
- a contribution of 309 EUR for transportation - in the case of an ecological form of transportation, the contribution is increased to 417 EUR (in which case it is possible to increase the duration up to 2 travel days)
- the contribution can be further increased individually by INCLUSION support.

- A committee consisting of Faculty members of the Department of Photography will select 5 students who can visit the festival.
- Selected students will be informed of the results by email by October 20, 2025
