FAMU students can participate in the 36th FID Marseille International Film Festival, which will take place from July 8 to 13, 2025. Every year, the festival welcomes many students from art and film schools in France and other European countries, offering them an individual journey through the current year's program.

4 students will be selected to represent the school at the festival.

The dates of FAMU's stay at the festival are the same as the entire duration of the festival, i.e. from July 8 to 13, 2025.

In 2025, students will be able to participate in two masterclasses with internationally recognized filmmakers and artists (Radu Jude, Carolina Adriazola and José Luis Sepúlveda), recommendations of films in the program based on their studies and interests, and planned meetings on request with artists, directors and dramaturgs.

The group of students will be accompanied by Assoc. Prof. MgA. Ondřej Vavrečka, Ph.D. The program will be compiled before the festival according to the interests of the students and in cooperation with the FAMU teaching team.

In recent years, the festival has welcomed groups of students from ENSAD Paris, ENSBA Lyon, ESADSE Saint-Etienne, ENSBA Paris, ENSA Paris-Cergy, Villa Arson, Beaux-arts de Marseille, TALM-site d'Angers, ESAD Valence, Fine Arts Nîmes, HEAR Mulhouse and Strasbourg and from European schools SABK Karlsruhe, HFBK Hamburg, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, ECAM Madrid and KASK Ghent.
