CONDITIONS

FAMU will conduct an internal selection and nominate 5-6 projects, from which one final project will be selected by ECAM FORUM representatives.

• the call is intended only for short films - FICTION / NON-FICTION / ANIMATION
• applications is open for students in their final year of BA or MA studies, students awaiting final exams or FAMU graduates within 3 years of graduation
• the project must have a producer who is a student or graduate of FAMU (within 3 years of graduation)
• the application must include: synopsis, director’s and producer’s notes, bio/filmography of the producer, director, and screenwriter, project status, budget and financing plan, and the first version of the script, all in English. 
• projects should have international potential and be able to make the most of the opportunities that ECAM FORUM will offer.
• In the case of mandatory participation in the presentation of topics of FAMU joint exercises, attendance will be taken into account in the decision-making process.
• The final selection will also be determined by the statement of the department management, which is requested by the FAMU International Department and is therefore not provided by the students.

Nominated projects will be assessed by ECAM FORUM representatives according to the following evaluation criteria:

• Coherence and artistic quality of the project
• Economic and budgetary viability
• Applicant profile

Selected participants will receive:

• accommodation for 2 participants (director and producer) will be provided by ECAM FORUM (the exact number of nights will be determined according to the program of the forum focused on short films).
• travel and accommodation expenses in onte-time financial contribution of CZK 10.000,- will be covered by FAMU in form of scholarship.
