An important part of the department's activities is assistance in organizing student participation in film festivals. FAMU maintains cooperation with a number of leading film festivals and in long-term ensures the participation of students at the Berlinale and Cannes. Specific conditions of participation can be found on individual sub-pages.

BASIC CONDITIONS

• The student applies based on public calls (and their specific conditions)
• The participant must be a full-time student
  • it is possible to travel as part of a waiting for final exams or individual study plan
  • NOT as part of an interrupted study
• Unless defined in description of the call, festival visits are covered by the Erasmus+ Short-term program (Short-term traineeship or Blended Intensive Program) – students must fulfill all administrative tasks connected to Erasmus+ programe – failing to do so can lead to returning of all financial contribution, not obtaining necessary credits on time, etc.
