The objective of the programme is developing new research formats through art where artistic practice is both the subject and the means of research for artists themselves and leads to generating new knowledge based on a critical analysis of creative activities and approaches. Supported projects must target for the publication in any of the existing platforms such as the Journal for Artistic Research, International Journal of Creative Media Research, Screenworks, RUUKKU, or [in]Transition. Therefore, grant applicants should first familiarise themselves with the type of outputs published in the above platforms.
Each selected project will be supported by CZK 50,000 paid in the form of scholarship or personal cost refund. All students and FAMU academic personnel may apply for grants.
Deadline for applications in English, including a research plan of 500-750 words, a brief biography of the applicant(s) and the specific periodical or platform where the article will be published, is 17 June 2019, 3pm.
