TWO FAMU FILMS WERE RECOGNIZED IN THE CILECT COMPETITION

In a competition for film schools from around the world organized by CILECT (Centre international de liaison des écoles de cinéma et de télévision), two films from FAMU placed this year. We’re thrilled about the fantastic 2nd place finish for the film Pes a vlk (Dog and Wolf), directed by FAMU alumna Terézie Halamová (a co-production with Other Stories), in the fiction category, and the 7th place finish for the film Lepší člově (Better Man), directed by FAMU student Eliška Jirásková, in the animation category! Both films were screened this year as part of Pragueshorts at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where they were also a huge success. Congratulations! Go girls!
