THE MEMORIAL CONCERT IN HONOR OF THE FOUNDER OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOUND AT FAMU, PROFESSOR IVO BLÁHA

The Society of Czech Composers, a member organization of the Association of Music Artists and Scholars HAMU, and FAMU invite you to a memorial concert honoring the music composer and educator, co-founder of the Department of Sound at FAMU, Professor MgA. Ivo Bláha.

The significant composer's compositions for children and youth will be performed by a children's and girls' choir, student orchestra, pupils, students, and teachers of ZUŠ Ratibořická and U Prosecké školy – Prague 9, ZUŠ Bajkalská – Prague 10, Gymnázia a Hudební školy hl. m. Prahy, ZUŠ – Prague 3, Konzervatoře a VOŠ Jaroslava Ježka – Prague 4, HAMU – Prague 1, as well as graduates and young performers.

The event will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2024, starting at 18:30 in the Bohuslav Martinů Hall at HAMU – Lichtenštejnský palác, Malostranské náměstí 13, Prague 1.

Admission is free – donations are voluntary.
