EDIT YOUR ENGLISH TEXTS WITH GRAMMARLY: FREE LICENCES!

AMU has acquired an exclusive licence for its students and staff to use Grammarly, an app that helps users write in English by highlighting mistakes, suggesting corrections, allowing to choose the level of formality and many other features.

The temporary licence is valid from 20 March to 20 April. We would like to gauge interest in using it, so we invite interested students and teachers to register by sending an e-mail to the FAMU library: knihovna.famu@famu.cz.

The number of licences is limited, but we will allocate them while they are available.

Users can also return a licence if they only want to try out the tool and do not want to continue using it.

Further information:

• Grammarly works for all common operating systems, including mobile (Windows, Mac OS, Android, etc.).
• You can use Grammarly in an application (Outlook, Word, etc.) or log in to the web interface and work with the text in your browser.
• Using Grammarly is anonymous. The system administrator does not see the users' texts, but has an overview of aggregate usage statistics (number of suggestions accepted, number of suggestions rejected, etc.).
