Mgr. et Mgr. Petra Vomelová

Head of Communications

As of 1 July 2026, the Faculty's Communications is managed by Petra Vomelová, Head of Communications.

Petra is responsible for the Faculty's internal and external communications. She keeps the FAMU community informed through newsletters, mass emails, invitations, and open calls, and manages the Faculty website. She also oversees FAMU's Facebook and Instagram channels. As the Faculty's press officer, Petra serves as the main contact for media inquiries and is available to answer questions from journalists.

Bio

Mgr. et Mgr. Petra Vomelová holds a degree in Media Studies from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University. She specializes in public relations and marketing communications and has experience in the public sector, major communications agencies, and the cultural sector.

She contributed to the Pilsen – European Capital of Culture 2015 project and later served as Press Officer for Pilsen – TOURISM, where she was responsible for the Visit Pilsen and Adolf Loos Pilsen brands. She also gained international experience at the Czech Center New York. During her university studies, she worked for the Finále Plzeň International Film Festival.
