We offer all AMU students and teachers consultations on the Research Catalogue (RC). You do not need to make an appointment in advance, but if you write to us, we can better prepare for your questions.

The Research Catalogue (RC) is a non-commercial, collaboration and publishing platform for artistic research provided by the Society for Artistic Research. It serves also as a backbone for teaching purposes, student assessment, peer review workflows and research funding administration. Through RC, it is possible to publish in peer-reviewed journals such as ARTEACTA or the Journal for Artistic Research.

Who is RC for?

  • Authors in the field of artistic research
  • Teachers to set up and lead online projects
  • Students to share their work or drafts
  • Artists to build their portfolio

How can RC be used?

  • To publish research on the AMU RC portal or in a peer-reviewed journal. Publishing on RC is Open Access.
  • As a platform for the submissions of term papers by students. It’s possible to make comments and suggestions for editing.
  • For teamwork on a collaborative project.
  • To create outputs where text is linked to audiovisual data.
  • For creating your own portfolio.
  • For networking with international colleagues.
  • As an archive of media (images, video, audio) to create expositions.

Interested in the Research Catalogue but not sure what to do?

We are here to help! You can either come and see us in person at the FAMU Library on designated days, or email us at any time (see Consultations and Contacts at the top of this page).

FAMU Digital repository

For FAMU researchers, there is a repository for research data (texts, videos, audio recordings, etc.) that can be accessed remotely (outside FAMU) and shared by the research team. If you are interested in the repository, please contact Tomáš Šín (tomas.sin@famu.cz). He will arrange space and access for you.
