PAST CALLS

FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION

Unless defined otherwise, short-term mobilities and blende intensive programmes are covered by the Erasmus+ program.

The EU defines the basic rules for determining the amount of financial contributions. The contribution is understood as financing covering the increased living costs abroad, it is not a scholarship covering all the costs of a stay abroad and the financial participation of the student is assumed. Based on the conclusion of the participation contract, the student receives a contribution that is the same for all students leaving the Czech Republic.

As of 1 January 2024, the Erasmus financial contribution will be paid only in EUR. Students are required to open an account in this currency.

The amount of the monthly contribution is fixed by the duration:

  • up to the 14th day of the activity – EUR 79 / day
  • from the 15th to the 30th day of the activity – 56 EUR / day
  • The financial contribution can be further increased through INCLUSION support.

Contribution to travel costs:

"distance: allowance for environmentally unfriendly travel (Green Erasmus - alternative allowance for environmentally friendly travel)" – the distance is calculated by the EC calculator.

  • 10 - 99 km: EUR 28 (EUR 56)
  • 100 - 499 km: EUR 211 (EUR 285)
  • 500 - 1 999 km: EUR 309 (EUR 417)
  • 2 000 - 2 999 km: EUR 395 (EUR 535)
  • 3 000 - 3 999 km: EUR 580 (EUR 785)
  • 4 000 - 7 999 km: EUR 1188
  • 8 000 km or more: EUR 1735

  • Up to 500 km, the participant will travel as a "Green Erasmus."
  • To receive the Green Erasmus financial support, it is necessary to fill out an affidavit that the journey there and back will be made in an environmentally friendly way (airplane and boat travel are excluded) and provide travel documents.
  • Participants can receive 2-6 funded days for travel (subsistence costs).
  • If the financial contribution does not cover 70% of the travel costs, it is possible to apply for a contribution for exceptionally high travel costs.
