CONDITIONS

FAMU will conduct an internal selection and nominate 5-6 projects, from which one final project will be selected by ECAM FORUM representatives.

• applications is open for students in their final year of BA or MA studies, students awaiting final exams or FAMU graduates within 3 years of graduation
• the project must have a producer who is a student or graduate of FAMU (within 3 years of graduation)
• the project must have a first draft of the script
• the call is intended only for short films - FICTION / NON-FICTION / ANIMATION
• the application must also include a synopsis, budget and financial plan of the project
• projects should have international potential and be able to make the most of the opportunities that ECAM FORUM will offer.

• In the case of mandatory participation in the presentation of topics of FAMU joint exercises, attendance will be taken into account in the decision-making process.
• The final selection will also be determined by the statement of the department management, which is requested by the FAMU International Department and is therefore not provided by the students.
• Nominated projects will be assessed by ECAM FORUM representatives according to the following evaluation criteria:
  • Coherence and artistic quality of the project
  • Economic and budgetary viability
  • Applicant profile

Selected participants will receive:

• accommodation for 2 participants (director and producer) will be provided by ECAM FORUM (the exact number of nights will be determined according to the program of the forum focused on short films).
• travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by FAMU through the Center for the Support of the Distribution of Artistic Outputs.
