Miroslava Vecerova and Pavel Prikasky: Pendulum and Blood of Horseshoe Crab

Alongside the current exhibition ISOTONIC SONG at Fotograf Gallery in Prague, artists Miroslava Vecerova and Pavel Prikasky unpicks the thematic background of their interdisciplinary collaboration. Colour pigments, which are used in today's biotechnology and medicine, touch performers' bodies. Reconciliation of the rational with the sensual and intuitive recurrently takes place in the joint projects. Journey into our bodies, gaze on animals, slow motion, liquid processes, contemporary mythologies and species polymorphism meets image, painting and performance.

Miroslava Vecerova studied fine art at the Academy of Arts Architecture and Design in Prague and at the Camberwell College of Arts London. She lives and works between London and Prague.

Pavel Prikasky studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He underwent exchange programme at the Middlesex University in London. He lives and works in Prague.
