lukáš skupa

Lukáš Skupa is a film historian, educator, and journalist. He earned his doctoral degree at the Department of Film Studies and Audiovisual Culture of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University of Brno. His texts were released in cineaste magazines and publications. He was the editor for the books Ostře sledované vlaky, Tajemství hradu v Karpatech and Cesta do pravěku focusing on popular Czech films. In 2016, he published his first monograph, Vadí – nevadí. Česká filmová cenzura v 60. letech. He is currently preparing a book on Czech films for children in the 1945–1992 period. His specialised field of interest is the history of Czech cinema. He is an editor of the film-oriented periodical Cinepur.
