invite young filmmakers and film students to a masterclass 
"THE ART OF SCRIPTWRITING" with awarded dramatist and screenwriter PETER MORGAN (The Last King of Scotland, The Queen, Frost/Nixon or Rush).

After doing so, you need to pick up a TICKET to the masterclass by the Festival Info Stand in Cinestar Andel Cinema, ground floor. 
Without the ticket you will not be admitted. 

The masterclass will be held in English only and moderated by program directors Štefan Uhrík and Hana Cielová.

PETER MORGAN is a dramatist and a screenwriter, who was awarded the Golden Globe and made a name for himself with biographical films about important figures of the 20thcentury, such as The Last King of Scotland or The Queen. Peter Morgan won the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay for a film about Elizabeth II. Helen Mirren, who portrayed the monarch, won the Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. Morgan is also the author of screenplays for The Last King of Scotland, about Idi Amin, the Ugandan dictator, or of one of the best racing films of all time – Rush, which depicts the rivalry between the F1 drivers Niki Lauda and James Hunt. Morgan’s original play and and subsequent screenplay Frost/Nixon reconstructed a series of televised interviews that caused controversy in the USA. Morgan was nominated for two Oscars and won four BAFTA awards, including one for a TV film The Deal about the rivalry between Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. Peter Morgan, who is in great demand as a scriptwriter, has a significant connection to the Czech Republic as he is married to Princess Anna Carolina, or better known as Lila Schwarzenberg, the daughter of the politician Karel Schwarzenberg. Peter Morgan will receive the Kristián Award for Contribution to World Cinema
