The 7th edition of Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest, the major Italian Film Festival about horror cinema, will take place in Ravenna (Italy) from 27 to 31 October 2009 (Halloween period).
Ravenna Nightmare will propose the International Competition For Feature Films (main event of the festival) and premieres & special events which will make Ravenna, for one week, the Italian capital of horror cinema.
Everybody who is interested in submitting a feature film to the Competition, is welcome.
Deadline for submission is 21 September 2009.

Rules and entry form are available on request. Short-films are not accepted, for this year.
RNFF has become, in 6 years, the most important appointment in Italy for horror genre cinema. Major companies are always present; all indipendent companies are welcome; and every year a number of professionals and journalists come to Ravenna, always interested in what we do.
We already had in previous editions guested directors like Dario Argento, Pupi Avati, Bryan Yuzna, Jeff Lieberman, Lucky McKee, Alex Infascelli, Lamberto Bava, Valerio Evangelisti, Manetti Bros, Ruggero Deodato.
Or we screened films by John Carpenter, Werner Herzog, John McNaughton, Miike Takashi, Jess Franco, Takashi Shimizu, Uwe Boll, Neil Marshall, Vincent Cassel, Jean Rollin.
