In the frames of expanding our collaboration with academic institutions from Greece and abroad the Naoussa International Film Festival continues the information on the actions of the Festival, the department of Youth and Student Films and the department of Mobile Phone Movies. Below and in the attached documents you can find the proposed Collaboration and Participation Opportunities in the forthcoming Festival.

Digital View embraces Southeastern Europe

           The Department of Youth and Student Films of Naoussa International Film Festival attempts an opening at South-eastern Europe, embracing the future filmmakers of this region. Henceforth, the Festival provides young people and students of film schools and similar faculties the opportunity to participate in an extremely pioneering and highly qualitative event. 

             Until the 15th of February 2010 creators originating from the following countries : Greece, Albania, Austria, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, FYROM, Hungary, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Czech Republic and Ukraine, can submit their application for  participation to the Department of Youth and Student Films through the Festival’s website.

The organizing of the department of youth and student films, called “Digital View” constitutes an action addressed to cinema directors of tomorrow. The basic goal of “Digital View” is to support young creators and to provide them with the opportunity to present their work and get evaluated for it.

             At the same time, “Digital View” is seeking to expand the educational activity, including it in a multifarious cinema feast. Through the organization of parallel events with the participation of professionals young creators are given the potentiality to meet and contact worthy personalities of cinema who will advise, encourage, and guide them.

            In collaboration with educational institutions from Greece and abroad the Festival will develop actions in order to support the film activity and the efforts of young creators, showing its special interest for the future of cinema.
