shnit goes international! The 7th edition of the roaring shnit-festival will take place from October 7-11 in Berne, Switzerland and Cologne, Germany.

Wrap up your stunning shorty, your fascinating animation, your heartwarming love-story or simply your most freaky clip and enter the international short film contest shnit-Open 2009. A total prize money of CHF 45000 (approx USD 40'000) is waiting for you!

The international competition shnit-Open 2009 features three grand Jury Prizes and an Audience Award. The best German and the best Swiss production will be additionally awarded. Works of all genres no longer than 15 minutes (excluding credits) are allowed to enter the competition. There is no admission fee.
