The Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival – Curta Cinema is a competitive festival for 16mm, 35mm, and digital short films which takes place annually in Rio de Janeiro. In 2009, year of it’s 19th edition, the festival will be held from October 29th to November 8th. Besides the exhibition of the recent Brazilian and International production in the short film format, the festival presents retrospectives and several other parallel activities.

El Festival Internacional de Cortos de Rio de Janeiro – Curta Cinema es un festival competitivo para cortos en 16mm, 35mm y digitales que ocurre anualmente en Rio de Janeiro. En 2009, el año de su 19a edición, tomará lugar del 29 de octubre al 8 de noviembre. Además de exhibir la reciente producción brasileña y internacional de cortometrajes, el festival presenta retrospectivas y varias otras actividades paralelas.
