Warm greetings from Busan Asian Short Film Festival (BASFF).

As cold wind that grazed tip of a nose is getting warm, the Busan Asian

Short Film Festival is approaching. We are now searching for the young

filmmakers who have peculiar imagination with their representative works.

We’re pleased to announce that the Busan Asian Short Film Festival 2009

will be held for 5 days from May 13th through 17th in Kyungsung University

Concert Hall, Multimedia Hall, and Multimedia Theater. In this year, the

film festival has expanded its Competitive Section in order to give

prospective young filmmakers more chances to show their new possibilities.

In accordance with it, Korean Short Film Competition has been enlarged into

Asian Short Film Competition. It has brought in Animation and Documentary

Section to introduce many-sided works. If you are of a curious nature, then

this competition is for you! You should be Asian with the short-listed film

work (Its a matter of your origin, not your nationality) to be invited in

the BASFF 2009.

Please check the attached Festival Regulation with Entry Form. Our English

The participants must submit the screeners to Busan Asian Short Film Festival office until March, 19, 2009 after submitting your film on-line at BASFF web site (www.basff.org) no later than Friday, March, 13th, 2009.
