FAMU has been ranked as the number 7 film school in the world according The Best 25 Film Schools in The Hollywood Reporter.

Among non-US schools, FAMU is number 2.  In Europe, FAMU is ranked first. 

Other European Film Schools in the ranking include The National Film and Television School, UK, at number 10, and La Femis, France, at number 11.

FAMU also provides study and exchange programs with partner schools, NYU-Tisch School of Arts (4), CalArts (6), Columbia University (8), The Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School (14), and Emerson College (18).
